One more visit to Morocco from the offer of our favorite travel agent Magda from Ecco Holiday in Warsaw.
Initially we were planning to get the trip around Morocco, but since it was no longer available, we just took the regular flight+hotel and planned the further escapades after arrival in Agadir.
When we reached Agadir, after short research we took one organized trip to the nearby mountains and then we've got a "tailored" trip to Sahara desert and Marrakesh where spent 3 days traveling through the high mountains, desert area and colorful cities with our guide Agnieszka, her mother and our driver.
But first - roaming around Agadir, checking its souk, rebuilt Medina (La Médina D'agadir) and fighting for the swimming pool with seagulls. Next day we went to a nearby mountains and Imouzzer waterfalls - a picturesque place in Atlas Mountains.

Having spent the first days around hotel, we finally started our proper trip to see the real desert. The first destination of this 3-day trip was the Sahara desert itself - after a whole day of travel through the Atlas Mountains, we reached a camp where spent a night.
It was a nice, secluded place, surrounded by sand dunes, with a nearest town/oasis around 5 km away (as long as you know the direction). We spent a night there and then took a camel ride to a nearby town where we continued our journey.

Our next destination was Ouarzazate - a city on a border of Sahara desert and near the Atlas mountains. We've visited there an old fortress - Aït Benhaddou - which was used to shot several movies, including Gladiator, Prince of Persia or The Mummy.

The last destination - Marrakesh, with mandatory visit to Jemaa el-Fnaa. When we had a snack at one of the food stalls there, we were feeling like in "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" or "Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern". But we survived with no issues.
